Terms and Conditions – The Clothing Manufacturers Association Of India (CMAI)
1. General
1.1 By accessing a website operated by The Clothing Manufacturers Association Of India (CMAI), you declare that you have understood and accept the following terms and conditions. CMAI exclusively signs contracts subject to these General Terms and Conditions. Every contractual party (including any purchaser of a ticket or registering for an event organized by CMAI) agrees to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. CMAI reserves the right to amend and/or remove these terms and conditions, or any other website content, at any time, without prior notice.
2. Data Privacy Protection
2.1 The parties recognize that CMAI is organizing industry-defining networking events, which are enriched by the participation of key stakeholders. Accordingly, CMAI is allowed to publish and process publicly available data, along with user-provided data during registration. By registering, users agree to receive electronic and written communication from CMAI. Cancellation of such communications can be done via email notification.
3. Prices and Re-scheduling
3.1 All prices for tickets, stalls, and rooms on the CMAI platform are exclusive of GST.
3.2 Tickets purchased are for personal or business use only and may not be resold or transferred for commercial gain. If any resale or attempted resale is discovered, CMAI reserves the right to cancel such tickets immediately.
3.3 If the event is rescheduled, previously issued tickets will remain valid. Refunds may be offered only if the event is canceled due to force majeure. Refunds will be limited to the ticket price and will be processed against proof of purchase. CMAI is not liable for any other expenses incurred.
3.4 CMAI reserves the right to change speakers, content, schedule, venue, or format at its discretion and without liability. Changes will be communicated through official channels.
3.5 In the case of date or venue (platform) changes, tickets shall remain valid unless otherwise specified.
4. Payment
4.1 CMAI uses secure third-party payment gateways. The use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
4.2 We may request additional verification to resolve payment disputes or confirm transactions.
5. Non-disclosure Agreement
5.1 “Confidential Information” refers to any data, process, plan, or proprietary information disclosed by CMAI, directly or indirectly. All contractual partners and registered users agree to hold this information in strict confidence and not disclose or use it without written permission.
6. Liability
6.1 CMAI is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage during the event. Each attendee is responsible for their own insurance and safety.
6.2 Admission may be denied for any behavior deemed inappropriate or in violation of these terms.
6.3 While the event platform will be professionally managed, any disruption not caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct does not qualify for reimbursement.
6.4 Attendees consent to photography, videography, and audio recordings during the event. These may be used by CMAI for promotional or documentation purposes across any media, including third-party platforms.
7. Miscellaneous
7.1 If any part of these terms is deemed invalid, the remaining sections shall remain in full effect.
7.2 All contractual relationships are governed under applicable laws. The contract language is English.
7.3 CMAI reserves the right to modify these terms and the privacy policy at any time. Continued use of the platform and services indicates acceptance of such changes.
